anyway, latest news:

1) "Each CCA will also be handling a blog, which will be YOUR CCA webpage.It shd be updated atleast once a month. This blog will showcase the “vibrant" side of our college. So you may personalise it however you want. Moreover, since all posts are rss feed-enabled, you can also post your cca announcements there. teaching the kids is not bad. cos you get to see stuff you haven't seen for a long long time.. like small children wanting to get there first and they chiong with all their might to that line. my god, it's just a line. but wow, im quite impressed. acutally, SONIA I WAS LAUGHING WHEN I READ THAT POST. hahaha. well, sorry but i'm not looking forward to the next training. i'm kinda tired of netball. either teaching or playing.. i need a break! shucks shucks. wrong place to complain. hahaha.

all you ajc netballers. this blog is to help the exco team save $ on sms and to get you guys informed and INvolved with stuff..hehe.

and also to releasse all our crap.hahaha....

anyway, SL dates are:

the skeleton of the proposal is out already...but we need help in like suggestions on what to do for courtwork for these pri skl children...ya noe, 13 brains is better than 3.. =D

These are the activities we have come up so far:

1) A game called “15 wins”
-Two groups will be playing against each other
-Netball rules will apply in this game
-Each group will pass the ball among their teammates within a third of the court while the other group will try to intercept.
-The starting team will be the winner of scissors paper stone.
-The team that manages to get 15 passes consecutively among themselves without being intercepted wins. - Play a few rounds of it till 15 minutes is up.

2)Passes:
Chest ( 20 each )
Lob (20 each)
Bounce (20 each)

3)Team Drills:
Straight shuttle
Square ball

4)Agilities
printing
Criss-cross
High Kneelifts
Side Step
Butt Kick

5)Courtwork
Divide into 3 groups-shooters, midfielders and defenders.
-shooters: do movements (for e.g. dodging) before shooting and shooting at different points in the semi-circle.
-midfielders: centre pass, bring down the ball from defending zone to attacking zone.
-defenders: block out for rebound, intercepting lobs.

6)Courtwork
Divide into 4 groups (7, 7, 7, and 6).
Baseline throw-in
-Each group takes turn to do throw-in.
-Next, combine to play a game starting from throw-in.
Sideline throw-in
-Each group takes turn to do throw-in
-Next combine to play an entire netball game.

YUPS.SO we need more ideas!! ya noe, something fun but helps them in netball too. and these kids are really cute! i saw them while umpiring. but some as dao as jiamein. or even dao-er...hehe...so help k!
